IMovie to Promote our Lenten Project

One of St. Cecilia's Lenten Project involves raising money for a water charity.  Today the Tech Connectors got together to create imovies to promote the cause in our school (and elsewhere!).  Hailey and Terra were able to finish their ad today.  Take a look!

Green Screen and Rock Stars!

Today we used the DoInk green screen app to create Rock Star images.  It was 'dress like a rock star' at St. Cecilia so we found a good background image and voila!  Then we uploaded them onto a padlet to share with everyone.  Take a look at what we did!

One of the groups finished early and played around with imovie. I wonder if next time we can combine the green screen app with imovie?

More App Smashes!

App Smashing

On Tuesday, we began experimenting with app smashing in the Learning Commons.  App smashing is when you take one app and combine it with another app to create a finished product.  Sometimes you can have three or more apps smashed together!  One of the groups is going to green screen their LEGO movie app with the DoInk app.  Can't wait to see what it looks like when they are done! Here are a few of our first attempts at app smashing. We will continue exploring app smashing next week! Stay tuned...

Makey Makey

We had the opportunity to play with Makey Makey on Tuesday.  Without any help from the adults, we made music with a banana! Yep...you read that correctly...a banana!
